LA Marathon

Back in March, my Sister & Dad ran the Los Angeles Marathon. My Dad has run many many marathons in the past, but this was Amanda's first. It blows my mind that she can run that far! I am still in awe, and I'm so proud of her accomplishment. I only hope to someday be able to run more than 2 miles at a time ;) Another added obstacle was the weather that day. It was by far the biggest rain storm of the year, and I was miserable being a spectator! I can't even imagine running in that rain and wind. By the end of the day we were all soaked, but it was 100% worth it watching Amanda cross that finish line.

Mother's Day

Happy late Mother's Day to all you Mommies out there! I'm so lucky I got to spend this past Sunday with my Mom. She took all us kids out to lunch at Novo, in San Luis. My Mom & sister had never been before, and I was very excited for them to try it! We ate sooooooo much, and enjoyed sitting outside beside the creek (even though it was a little breezy & cold.)

My Mom means the WORLD to me. Without her, I wouldn't be where I am (literally and figuratively.) I've said this a million times over but she is the strongest, most beautiful woman to ever walk this Earth. The things she has endured are insane, and I hope to be half of what she has become someday. So

Mom, thank you. Thank you for always being there for me, even when I was (and sometimes still am) a pain in the ass. I love you, with every bit of my being. You are my heart and soul. <3
